Wood plastic composite decking flooring is different from plastic decking flooring. It is made of high-density polyethylene and wood fibers. Plastic decking flooring is just that, plastic, and while it can contain a variety of additives to resist sun damage, scratches, and weather, plastic flooring is prone to bending and warping and has a short lifespan.
In wood plastic composite decking flooring, polypropylene or polyethylene plastics are joined to wood fibers to create a strong bond. They also help to create a textured surface with a color closer to wood than to plastic decking flooring.
In addition to decorative uses, there are other uses for WPC composite decking flooring. These include decorative wall panels, cladding, outdoor furniture, railings, balustrade and fencing.
Wood plastic composite decking is highly durable. The wood plastic composite material does not absorb water and is durable. Because it contains no organic material, it will not rot. Unlike wooden decking floor, WPC composite decking flooring does not require sanding and restaining.
This means that you can enjoy the convenience of WPC composite decking flooring without spending a lot of time on maintenance once it is installed.
