The co-extrusion technology of co-extruded wood plastic composite materials has two kinds: pre-co-extrusion and post-co-extrusion. Pre-co-extrusion refers to the way that the two materials realize composite and synchronous final molding in the process of incomplete molding. Then post-co-extrusion refers to a material has been fully formed, and then with another material to achieve composite molding, the latter is also known as the third generation of co-extruded wood plastic composite decking.

The third generation of co-extruded wood plastic composite decking has the characteristics of simple process, flexible application, low scrap rate, easy recovery and controllable bonding strength. Co-extruded WPC is widely used in garden, transportation, construction, home improvement, vehicle and ship interior decoration and other fields. As a new material that can save wood and replace wood, co-extruded wood products have gradually developed into a new industry.

There are two types of co-extrusion processes for co-extruded wood plastic composite decking: pre-co-extrusion and post-co-extrusion. Pre-co-extrusion refers to the way in which two materials are compounded in an incomplete forming process and synchronized for final forming. Post co-extrusion means that one material has been fully formed and then compounded with another material, the latter is also known as the third-generation co-extruded wood plastic composite finish.

Which composite deck board is right for you?

Take your pick from Tercel range of five composite deck boards, of which come in the six most popular colours (grey, teak, chocolate, charcoal and antique). Choose the affordable hollow Essential range, our traditional solid composite Classic range, or upgrade to our second-generation composite decking planks: the hollow capped composite Advanced range or the solid capped Deluxe range composite decking board.

All of our composite decking boards are more durable and longer-lasting than traditional wood. It’s all low maintenance – with no need for painting or staining. Made from an advanced formula of wood fibres and plastic, it looks and feels natural underfoot, but unlike wood, Tercel composite decking boards are resistant to costly problems such as warpage, mould, insect damage and rot.
